What’s The Checkpoints Before Running Softgel Encapsulation Machine?

There are several details to check before operating the softgel encapsulation machine. Below is a checklist.

1. You cannot be too careful to check the die roll, checking the external/appearance of dies rolls, no damage or scratch is allowed. Coating of wedge and wedge edge no damage and breakage.
2. The heaters and sensor for the injection parts should work normal and accuracy.
3. The heaters and sensors for the gelatin spread box should place properly and work normal.
4. The cooling should run through the whole encapsulation system, so check drum fan is working and cooling drum runs simultaneously and with same speed.
5. The gelatin ribbon stripper should work at a proper force to peel off gelatin sheet from dies.
6. Check the mangle roller operation status.
7. Air pressure checking.
8. Re-check zero point of softgel dies and wedge even it is checked during die roll installation.
9. Paraffin oil and lubrication checking. Make sure roller filters have lubricant flowing-in.
10. The medicine pump, medicine hopper, agitator built-in hopper and its transfer is normal.
11. Gelatin viscosity should always be checked for each batch and before fill onto encapsulation.
12. Room temperature and humidity setting up checking according to machine supplier’s suggestion.
